Good Chromebook upkeep!

Before parents go to sleep remind child to charge Chromebook
Reason: Many children come into school with Chromebooks that seem to have an issue when really all the Chromebook needs is to be charged.

Check to make sure the charger is properly plugged in and connected
Reason: Sometimes a simple fix for a non charging chromebook is that a cord is not plugged into the wall properly or that the power cord is not connected to its power adapter.

If Online printing is not working for the chromebook then connect it via printer cable to print
Reason: There are instances where a chromebooks won’t be able to connect to a wireless printer. In these occasions to overcome this simply plug the printer cable into the chromebook to establish a wired connection.

Tips for  online Chromebook usage
If a website will not load on the Chromebook and the page is all white or unresponsive look to the top left of the website for a small circle icon with a “i” in it. Click it and goto flash and switch it to allow always . if done correctly a blue bar should appear underneath the search bar that says reload page. Reload and wait a few minutes to see if changes have been made.
