Technology in Preschool

Thanks to a recent grant award, the students in St. Michael Preschool have the unique opportunity to work with a cutting edge piece of technology. The SMART Table is an interactive, multi touch, multi user table designed primarily for young learners. This piece of equipment allows groups of children to work cooperatively to accomplish a task. Working together, the students explore lessons, play games and create artwork. "The SMART Table technology allows me to create lessons for specific skills that individual children need to master. The lessons can be worked on either individually or in a group " said Mrs. Patricia Paetow, Preschool Director. The children love working on the SMART Table because they find it challenging and lots of fun!
