Second Grade Participates in Live Nativity

On December 6 and 7, Mrs. Berardelli and Mrs. Novotny's second grade classes participated in the Live Nativity at the Children's Farm in Palos Park. The students braved the cold weather to re-enact this holy event.

Jaiden Hidalgo and Brian Hansen were chosen to play the part of Joseph. The role of Mary went to Mary Piacente and Kate Harring who were treated to a ride on a donkey. Other students were chosen to hold live animals, including chickens and bunnies. The students had a truly memorable experience and thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the true meaning of Christmas!
