Students Learn By Doing
The 7th and 8th grade Science program is a hands on, inquiry based program that brings Science alive in our fantastic science lab. Students work on projects that showcase their understanding of the Scientific Method as they test various hypotheses.
Award Winning
Students participate in many activities throughout the year to expand their knowledge in many areas of the curriculum. Seventh grade students will participate in the Planting Science Program which will match them with mentors from universities and colleges across the United States. The Eighth grade students are participating in the Great American Energy Debate this year. More information to come - stay tuned!!
Innovative Classes and Technology
The 7th and 8th grade classes have the benefit of a SMART board that integrates the students work with the lessons. Additionally, we have a wireless Airliner slate, Elmo document camera, and CBL motion detector that will upload data from experiments into graphing calculators.
What's UP in Room 18?? News/Updates
