February News ~ Room 15
I hope that we can all remember February1st last year - twenty-four inches of snow and Lake Shore Drive a mess !! What a difference a year makes!! We are having the best winter weather in a long time, and I'm afraid that our children are thinking Spring. Please make sure that you are still checking the web pages for homework and projects that are due. Service hours are still needed to be completed by some of our students- work on them and bring in the completed sheets. Saint reports have been handed in and I'm sure that you will see the grades for them soon. The February parent/student worksheet is due February 16th - they can be handed in any time up to the 16th.
We are beginning our formal study of Confirmation. Booklet 1 is almost complete and today(February1) they received many resources for the study of Confirmation. Please make sure they keep up with their studies and homework. Report cards go out at the end of the month. There is a Confirmation meeting on February 21st for 8th graders in the Church at 7:15. The overnight for 8th grade is February 19th and 20th, please return the permission slip as soon as possible so we know how many chirldren will attend.
