Our week ahead, May 31st to June 4th

It is your child's last week of first grade.  The year has gone by so quickly. I have watched the children grow and learn.  We have had a wonderful class and I will miss them all.

On Tuesday we will visit the Shedd Aquarium.  The children should wear their gym uniforms and bring a bag lunch.  Be sure to instruct your son or daughter to stay with his or her chaperone.

On Wednesday we will have a fishy beach day. The boys and girls will do many activities relating to our trip the day before. 

Thursday will begin with some major Spring cleaning.  Send your child with 2 rags that day in a plastic bag - one to wash and one to dry.   We will walk to our picnic at about 10:15.  Hope that everyone can join us there!  The children may wear play clothes.  Pack a good lunch and maybe an extra drink. (They get thirsty when playing.)

On Friday, we will attend an all-school final liturgy at 8:00 and dismiss shortly after.  Report cards will be distributed.

Mrs. Paulius and I really want to thank you for the gift of your children. Your trust, support, and cooperation have made this year beautiful.  Please continue to work with and support your child.  Have a restful summer break.
