  • Terra Nova Preparation and Review
  • Develop Organizational Skills- The proper use of an “Assignment Book"
  • Develop Editing Skills -Daily Oral Language (DOL)

4th Grade Grammar

4th Grade Vocabulary:

Vocabulary List for the week of February 6, 2012 – No Unit Test

The fourth grade students will be using their Vocabulary class time to review and prepare for the Terra Nova Testing scheduled for the first week in March.   The preparation includes a broad review of materials presented previously in Grammar, Writing, and Vocabulary.  The students will be given practice test questions to help them become familiar with the format of the questions and material that could be included on the assessment.  Any materials reviewed in class will be found in the students’ three- ringed binders.

 

  

Writing

The fourth graders have completed their Nobel Prize Winner Assignments and would like to invite parents to stop and enjoy the bulletin boards (outside classrooms’ doors) created by Room 7 and 12.
