  • February 3- corrected worksheets - graduation pictures went home today - they are due back on Wednesday, February 8th
  • February 6 -  complete packet pp. 65-67 -  service hours - parent/student worksheet due February 16th

8th GRADE LANGUAGE ARTS

  • February 1 -  8th grade - complex sentences for words 1-10 in Unit 7   complete all pages in Unit 7 - accelerated - discussed the end of the book - divided into groups to create the places visited in the book along th e Mississippi River  - do all pages in Vocabulary unit 7 pp. 87-90
  • February 2 - 8th grade  did not see B1/B2  - 3 Piggy Opera - C1/C2/D1  - worked on personal interviews and collected complex sentences - assigned  words 1-10 - write a compound-complex sentence for each  in red underline dependent clauses and in another color circle the conjunctions - accelerated - worked on Mississippi River project and  do research on your group topic on the food, dress, music, and games of 1835-1845
  • February 3- 8th grade - continued on Interviews - B1/B2 Vocabualry unit 7  compound-complex sentences for first five words -  Have letter about Holocaust signed and returned - accelerated - test on Huck Finn, Wednesday, February 8th - we will review Tuesday -  for all classes Vocabulary test on Friday, February 10th
  • February 6- 8th grade - B1/B2 timed editing in the classroom -C1/2/D1- collected 20 sentences  timed editing  in class - accelerated- two worksheets on Huck Finn - test on Huck Finn on Wednesday, February 8th - review tomorrow  - for all classes Vocab ulary test , Friday, February 10th

 

 7th GRADE LANGUAGE ARTS

  • February 1 - worksheet on Compound subjects and predicates - due Friday
  • February 2 - worksheet on auxiliary verbs -  both worksheets on due tomorrow
  • February 3 - corrected and collected worksheets Lesson 3 and Lesson 40  - Vocabualry test unit 7 on Friday, February 10th
  • February 6- Room 17 - corrected pp. 87-88 words 1-10 complex sentences - Rooms 18& 16  Introduced words  do pp. 87-88    - test on Friday , February 10th for all rooms
