Ambassador's Club
Ambassador Leadership Team 2011-12
Eleven 8th grade students from St. Michael School have been announced as the Ambassador Leadership Team for this school year. Introduced by Mrs. Bernadette Cuttone, principal of St. Michael School, the SMS leadership team serves as role models for the student body by encouraging other students to become positive leaders in the school. The ambassadors mentor new students and work with the Veterans Day Breakfast.
On September 28th , the team visited Marian Catholic High School for a leadership conference. They brought back ideas to share with fellow students,and hope to sponsor their own leadership day at St. Michael in the near future.
Mrs. Cuttone and Mrs. Barbara Ryan, a 7th/8th grade teacher, hope to expand the program each year. They anticipate the ambassadors working with younger students, speaking at Masses throughout the school year to emphasize the importance of Catholic education, and work on service to the school and community.
