St. Michael Cheerleaders Win National Championship

Over the weekend of January 15-17, the St. Michael School Varsity Cheerleaders competed in the Jamfest Cheer Super National Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana. The St. Michael team, comprised of 6th thru 8th grade girls, not only won the National Title in the Advanced Junior High category but also outscored every high school, junior high and recreational team with one exception in the entire competition.

In addition, the St. Michael team was awarded the "Class Champion Award" for posting the highest score of any participating 8th grade and under team. The Wildcats were also presented with the "Most Entertaining Team" Award of all school/recreational teams in the competition.

The team is coached by Mrs. Becky Weslow and Assistant Coach Ms. Kim Williams.
