Mock Trial
The Mock Trial Program is provided annually for 8th graders by a group of volunteer parents who are current or former trial attorneys. It is a nine-week program that teaches the students how to conduct direct examinations, cross examinations, opening statements and closing arguments. The last week culminates with the students acting in the roles of prosecution and defense attorneys. They put on their "trials" at the Bridgeview Courthouse in front of Circuit Court Judges, using younger students as trial witnesses.
