Varsity Cheerleaders Take First in State

Congratulations to the St. Michael School Varsity Cheerleaders for capturing their TENTH state title in 12 years! The girls were crowned the ICCA State Cheerleading Champions in Springfield this weekend at the Prairie Capital Convention Center.

The crowd of thousands gave them a huge ovation as they brought the house down with their elite skills. A perfect performance!

The girls qualified for the State Championship in December at a regional competition at Bolingbrook High School. Over 15 regionals were held throughout the state, and the best teams qualified for the State Championship in Springfield.

The St. Michael team was also crowned National Champions one month ago in Indianapolis at Jamfest Super Nationals. The members of the STATE and NATIONAL CHAMPION St. Michael team are:
