Finalists Submitted for Doodles 4 Google
St. Michael School has submitted 6 finalists to Google for their Doodle 4 Google contest.
According to Google.com, the competition is open to K-12 students of U.S. schools who are inspired by the theme, "If I could do anything, I would..."
Mrs. Carlin Glennon, St. Michael's Art Educator, chose 6 students from the grade span required by Google. In 2009, Google received more than 28,000 "doodles". Google will choose 400 State Finalists to be announced in early May. On-line voting for the public will begin on May 18th. The 40 Regional Finalists will be featured in a Smithsonian Exhibit in Washington D.C. Google will use the winner's design as their homepage on May 27, 2010.
